Organics Review: BeeAllNatural Organic Lip Balm

Product Name:

Bee All Natural Organic Lip Balm By Bee All Natural.

beeallnatural

About the brand:

Bee All Natural is a one woman show ran by Rachel Nonis. Based out of Shelby Township, Michigan, Rachel started her company because she was tired of buying products that claimed to be “natural” but “still have garbage” in them. No she makes all the products from scratch, packages it, designs and prints the label . In her own words “I want to create products that I can be proud of. Proud of selling, using and standing behind 100%”.

Certifications:

USDA certified organic, food grade quality.

Flavour:

Rachel sent me three flavours to try:

Peppermint, Natural and Grapefruit
I absolutely make these flavours. They make me hungry. Probably best tasting balms I’ve had in ages. Good thing they are organic in case I eat too much! I can’t even pick a favourite, but pushed against the wall I’d probably spill “grapefruit”.

Scent:

To die for. This scent reminds you what food is supposed to smell like… I keep forgetting that these balms aren’t for eating! Thank god they are food-grade…

Packaging:

Really pretty little tubes. These balms look playful and simple. Fits in my little wallet, which is perfect.

Ingredients:

Nothing to complain about. All ingredients are natural and almost all are organic. These products are food-grade quality. Personally I love the coconut oil — i think its responsible for the awesome taste/scent.

Also, I love that all the products are created from scratch, never a prebought base. (Did you know that a lot of manufacturers just buy a standard base, add a couple of useless ingredients and branding, and sell the “new miracle product”? This industry really needs a shake up. Luckily you don’t have to worry about that with these balms!)

Performance:

I’m so destructed by taste and smell that I wasn’t even paying attention to performance at first. But the performance is perfect. It does what a lip balm is supposed to do.

Price:

$3.50 per tube. The products can be purchased from the website as well as various stores.

Verdict:

Absolutely awesome. Highly recommended. Probably my new favourite lip balm!

PS: There is also a facebook page where you can find information about contests and giveaways. I urge you to try it.

These widely available “natural” balms garnered mixed reviews: praise for mild aromas, but pans for a “gummy” and surprisingly strong feel. I can attest that with seriously chapped lips, the “pleasant tingle” one tester noted of the Beeswax flavor becomes excruciating. Burt’s Replenishing balm got props from one tester for providing the promised extra moisture, and “a bit of pinkish coloring to my winter lips.” But the honey and replenishing sticks both contain the dread “fragrance,” which can mask toxics in cosmetics. On the plus side, Burt’s is the only brand that uses recycled plastic in its tubes — or the only one that boasts about it.

The initiative taken for the concern is very serious and women need an attention of every one. This is the concern which exists in the today beauty products and needs to be include in the use regularly as soon as possible. I like this particular article. It gives me an additional input on the information around the skincare products. Thanks a lot and keep going with posting such information.

It is always good to use organic products since there are no chemicals included in the ingredients.

I have a tube at home, work, and in my purse at all times. There isn’t much else to add to what other have posted here. I am forever searching for the best way to moisturize my chapped lips. The most mainstream brand is too waxy and does not penetrate. Petroleum based products work, but are yucky and goopy. Savannah Bee Co. is natural, light, smells nice, and has a beautiful natural tint. Wear alone or to use to freshen up lipstain. My only issue is I wish it would last longer on my lips, but hey — when you’re talking, drinking, eating, etc. throughout the day, one can’t have unreasonable expectations. Savannah Bee is better than most!

I love reading about new organic products. I am always searching for new products to try. I found this really nice site, http://www.lavera.com that provides a huge selection on organic cosmetics. This site offers other great organic products as well. Thought I would share!

This lip balm is definitely a go for me. I’m currently using Burts Bee. Knowing that this balm is USDA certified gives me a peace of mind that there’s not bad chemicals in the product.
